Springtime in the desert means things are starting to heat up. Springtime at the store means things are starting to happen. Spring is one of our busiest times with so many things to do to get ready for summer and next season. Yep, we start planning events and start planning our projects, and classes for summer and next season. Right now this is what we are working on for the summer:
May Class - The Boxy Tote
This is a heavy duty tote with heavy duty stays that keep the top wide open for supplies and it even holds a Singer Featherweight machine. A two day class currently with 2 openings. We have several samples of the completed bag at the store so come on by check them out and sign up for the class.
June - Progressive Summer Sale
Yes, it's that time again for our Progressive Summer Sale. This is your chance to save big during the summer months on that fabric or new project you've been wanting to start or finish. Each month the discount gets bigger with the minimum purchase starting in June with 10% and ending in August with 20%. Details are at the store ... so come on by and plan your savings strategy. This is a yearly event that we look forward to as it gives us all the opportunity to visit with you during the summer and help you with your projects. And if you play all three months you will be entered into a drawing to win a special prize.
July Class - Garden Paths
This summer over 3 months, July, August and September on the second Saturday of the month we are offering the Garden Paths Quilt class. Enjoyable pattern using strip rolls, we used batiks on a wonderful sample at the store. This quilt is easy to adjust the size and has a feminine flavor. The design also lends itself for the use of holiday fabrics. Get out of the heat and come sew with us the summer. Details on our web class page.

"California Here We Come" this is our 20th anniversary and we have big parties planned for the run. Each store has a different anniversary to celebrate. All quilts are to be displayed with pictures posted on line by June 1st. Hope you like it.
