This Saturday, September 18^th is National Sew a Jelly Roll Day.  We thought long and hard on how we could best celebrate this day and have decided that we are going to have a jelly roll blow-out special!  This has been such a different year than most and the store inventory is a little older than I would like… so 50% off all jelly rolls from now until this Saturday, September 18th!  Yep, 50% off.  Redeeming loyalty cards on such a deep discount will not be honored, however, we will give you punches on your purchases to use for future non-sale items. 

And to help you use up those jelly rolls, Moda Fabrics has generously provided 5 project jelly roll patterns.  These can be found on our front web site page upper right-hand corner.  Just give it a click and you can print the pdfs for Quadrangle, Savannah Squares, Step This Way, Taffy and Tiddlywinks.   Moda has also put together a fantastic set of 2.5” templates to use with your jelly rolls.  A 2.5” square, 2.5” hexagon, 2.5” triangle, 2.5” tumbler, and 2.5” circle.  Happy National Sew a Jelly Roll Day!

Some more good news from Moda … Our Dance in Paris kits have arrived!  The bad news, after we fill all our pre-order commitments, we only have 3 left. 

Don’t forget at the store we are celebrating Hallothankmas Season.  During the month of September if you buy One Halloween print pre-cut fat quarter you will get One Halloween pre-cut blender fat quarter at 50% off! In October Fall pre-cut fat quarters and in November, Christmas pre-cut fat quarters. 

Help Wanted.  We have a new store associate position at the store.   This is a year-round position Thursday – Saturdays from 9am – 4pm.  Front of the store greeter, cashier, assist customers, and provide store support, cut fabrics, etc.  If you have any interest or know of anyone looking for work 3 days a week, stop by the store. 

This past week we received an additional 16 pillowcases for Ryan’s Cases for Smiles.  We have started another tote board aiming for 200 cases and with last weeks donation we are at 51 and well on our way again to our goal of 200.  This organization works tirelessly to supply happy pillowcases to all sick children in the Inland Empire.  Covid has disrupted the pillowcase sew a thons and events so more than ever individual pillowcase donations are needed.  Please keep those pillowcases coming…we’ll accept as many as you can make. 

3 weeks and counting…. The Reindeer Dash starts on Thursday, October 7^th through Saturday, October 9^th from 9am – 5pm.   During this event all stores collect nonperishable food for local food banks and various charities.  Bring your contribution for a discount coupon redeemable later this year. Think         mac n cheese, tuna, soup, coffee, peanut butter, applesauce, fruit cups, juice boxes.  Canned vegetables are good to… try and bring complete food not just ingredients like the infamous stewed tomatoes… If you were hungry or down on your luck, what would you like to receive?    This event features the fabrics by Lewis and Irene, “Noel” and we can’t wait to see everyone.    To see the fabrics and participating stores https://reindeerdashquiltrun.com/
