This week is the week we wait for all summer long … the week of the first day of Fall. Can’t wait to get all those pumpkin decorations out. At the store we actually jump the gun a little and blast over Fall straight into Christmas for The Reindeer Dash Shop Hop. We are just about two weeks away from the event. This year we are highlighting the fabric line Cup of Cheer, by Kimberbell for Maywood Studios. Each store will have a mug rug pattern to host your favorite coffee or teacup. These would make fast and easy holiday gifts for your best bud, favorite neighbor, or family member. Give them a personal mug rug and maybe a mug with their favorite coffee, tea, or hot cocoa. Yes, it’s time to start thinking of all those holiday gifts we need to make.
New Fabrics at the store:
A new blender line we have brought in, Cottage Cloth, by Renee Nanneman for Andover Fabrics. 24 delicious colors are now on our blender wall. Cotton fabric that has the look of China Silk.
Holiday Flourish by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. This year we selected blue, silver, and white for our winter holiday collection. A stunningly beautiful collection that will create an elegant winter quilt no matter what pattern you use. We have a winter quilt using these fabrics hanging at the store and we are working on quilt kits now that we will have ready by The Reindeer Dash.
Spirit Trail by Windham Fabrics. Newly released Spirit Trail designs and colors have been added to our southwest corner at the store. Turquoise, Black, Bronze, Tan and White are some of the new colors.
Cuddly Countryside by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. A cute farm collection with cows, lambs, pigs, flowers, and rainbows. In tones of blues, pink, yellow and green.
Twilight by Dashwood Studios. Skeleton heads, bats, moths, owls, snakes, spiders, and pumpkins. A unique color palette of gold, robin’s egg blue, blue turquoise, light magenta, lavender, and tangerine.
We recently collected and delivered 192 pillowcases to Ryan’s Cases for Smiles. Thanks to Kathleen, Brenda, Mary, and Andrea for your donations. We will continue to collect pillowcases through December 16th of this year. Susan Bailey the Inland Valley Chapter coordinator will be retiring at the end of the year after more than a decade of tireless service. We have been so fortunate to work with Susan for so many years and wish her all the best. We are calling on all of you to give her a big pillowcase send off. Bring us all your donation pillow cases between now and December 16th. Help us make Susan’s last delivery of cases one she’ll never forget!
We continue to experience price increases, astronomical shipping surcharges, rising inflation, labor shortages, as well as delivery delays. We continue to look for specials and incentives to hold down price increases, however there are increases coming throughout the industry. We appreciate your business and patience as we endure the continuing challenges of doing business. Our quilt fabric boutique is briming with samples and delicious fabrics for lots of inspiration and as always, we look forward to seeing you at the store.
