Snow on the mountains in November … isn’t it beautiful?  I can never remember having snow this early... I sure hope it stays with us through the holidays. 

New fabrics and Kits and the store:

Crafting Magic by Maureen Cracknell for Art Gallery Fabrics.  Just a few pieces from the new capsule collection.  Birds of Night Five, Sun Tracks Five and Lunar Illusion Five. Tangerine, Wisteria and Robin Eggs Blue just to name a few colors found in these boho pieces. 

Firefly by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society.  The collection is filled with flowy nighttime curiosities – friendly owls, luminous mushrooms, magical flowers and of course, twinkling fireflies.  Dark Teal, Peony, Ash, Black, Fire and Succulent colors throughout. 

Gustav Klimt by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.  Breathtaking metallics, Gold, Ivory, Cream, Green, Sapphire, Cobalt and Black.  Rich saturated colors and beautiful panels.  We are hanging a sample quilt today.   The Courthouse Panels pattern by Robert Kaufman is easy to do with stunning results.    

Forest Critters by Blank Quilting.  Fauna and friends, Fox, Owl, Deer, Rabbit, Hedgehog, Racoon and even a friendly Bear surrounded by wildflowers, mushrooms, and woodland trees.   And we do have a sample and  kits available for this collection.  The quilt is easy and goes together quick.  Available in the store and on our website. 

We are continuing to collect pillowcases through December 16^th of this year.  Susan Baily, the Inland Valley Chapter Coordinator will be retiring at the end of the year after more than a decade of tireless service.  We want to give Susan a huge send off this December, help us make Susan’s last delivery of cases one she’ll never forget!  Mark your calendars on Saturday, December 17^th we are having a little happy retirement and thanks for all you’ve done party at the store.  More details will follow shortly, but in the meantime circle that date on your calendar.  During the month of November if you bring 2 completed pillowcases in to donate, we will give you a 10% off discount on any 1 non sale item at the store! 

Store hours through the end of the year will remain Thursday – Saturday from 9am – 3pm.  The store will be closed Thanksgiving Day but will reopen for Friday and Saturday of that week. 

We will close for the Christmas and New Year Holidays from Saturday, December 24^th through Wednesday, January 4^th with the store reopening on Thursday, January 5^th, 2023. 

You’ll be happy to know that we have added a few new faces to the store and anticipate a familiar face to be off the injury list and coming back.  We are crossing our fingers that we will be able to open additional hours after the first of the year. 

 We have the dates and cards for our upcoming 13^th Birthday Part Tent Sale.  We will celebrate our birthday for two days, Friday, February 10^th and Saturday, February 11^th from 9-2pm. 

The annual Spring Fling Quilt Run will be held on Thursday, March 2^nd, Friday, March 3^rd, and Saturday, March 4^th.  We have flyers at the store, and you can see the fabrics on our website just click the tab up on the top that says Spring Fling.
