 We are Launching a new program at the store this black Friday the Little Black Bag Club.  What is the Little Black Bag Club you ask?   

Purchase an official black bag for $10.00, the price is fully refundable (as a $2.50 credit towards your purchase during each event).  There will be 4 events throughout the year for little black bag holders only, details to follow. 

Little black bags are available for purchase on Black Friday and throughout the month of December, while supplies last. 

Additionally, this Friday we are having a few Black Friday instore specials:

Cup of Cheer by Kimberbell for Maywood Studios will be offered on Black Friday weekend at a 25% discount.  This is the collection we featured during the Reindeer Dash Shop Hop.   Bolts are a little skinny but there is still yardage available. 

Kisses by Riley Blake will be offered on Black Friday weekend at a $ 25% discount.   This has been a very popular blender collection for our store.  The collection if you haven’t heard is being discontinued so stock up now while you can. 

Aged Muslin by Marcus Fabrics will be offered on Black Friday weekend at a $30% discount.  This collection has been a store staple now for a few years … and it’s time to shake up our blender wall, so we are discounting these fabrics to move them out.  Again, bolts are getting skinny-ish so hurry and make your selection. 

Pick up Sticks by Andover Fabrics will be offered on Black Friday weekend at a $40% discount.  This is a lite hearted collection we have used in many samples but alas it is time to move it out for all the new collections coming very soon. 

On top of the above savings with any purchase this black Friday weekend we will raffle off, “The Quilter’s Night Before Christmas”, a treasury of tradition written by Sue Reich to commemorate the anniversary of the holiday poem penned in 1882 by Clement C. Moore “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” 

We are continuing to collect pillowcases through December 16^th of the year.  Susan Baily, the Inland Valley Chapter coordinator will be retiring at the end of the year after more than a decade of tireless service.  We want to give Susan a huge send off this December, help us make Susan’s last delivery of cases one she’ll never forget!   To up the ante a little … any pillowcases donated (brought into our store) between November 25^th and December 16^th will be entered into a drawing to receive a kit, Desert Moon.   Each pillowcase equals one raffle ticket, bring us 25 pillowcases for 25 chances to win. 

New Fabrics and Kits at the store:

Dwell by Camille Roskelly for Moda Fabrics.  Cottage Flowers, ticking stripes, pin dots and  little songbirds in navy,  Carolina blue, and grass green on a cream background. 

Prairie Song by Wishwell for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.  An eclectic mix of repeating shapes inspired by garden observations.  Gritty layers of sprayed stencils, cracks and torn objects in colors denoted by blue yonder, amber, breeze, straw, rain, redwood, and evening.  We brought in several pieces of the collection including one print on canvas for all those bag makers. 

Tropicalism by Odile Bailloeul for FreeSpirit Fabrics.  The Tropicalism collection invites you to venture into virgin and unknown territories and dense jungles where the vegetation is prolific and exuberant.  Here everything is extreme: the colors, the richness of the textures, the fragrances, the profusion of patterns…Insects, birds, frogs and wild animals come out of their hiding places to meet you, so they merge with the leaves and flowers in full bloom.  This collection will give you the opportunity to create rich and original patchworks that you will want to discover like intrepid explorers.  We brought in the whole collection of 16 pieces for you to create with. 

Hometown Kit using the Dwell fabric by Moda Fabrics.  A neighborhood of houses nestled amount tulips what could be better?  This is a Moda kit that finishes 70” x 80”. 

The latest and last novel in the Door Country Quilt Series has arrived, “Christmas Surprises at the Door”.  I’m sorry this series has ended, and I will miss all the characters but look forward to hopefully a new quilt series by Ann Hazelwood. 

Don’t forget the Reindeer Dash 16 coupons are good during the month of December at any store that participated in the run.  The coupon is good for 20% off any one item of not sale items and sewing machines. 

Store hours through the end of the year will remain Thursday – Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm.   The store will be closed Thanksgiving Day but will reopen for Friday and Saturday of that week. 

We will close for the Christmas and New Year Holidays from Saturday, December 24^th through Wednesday, January 4^th with the store reopening on Thursday, January 5^th, 2023. 

Mark your calendars for our upcoming 13^th Birthday Party Tent Sale.  We will celebrate our birthday for two days, Friday February 10^th and Saturday February 11^th from 9 – 2 pm.

Also, next year make sure to put Thursday March 2^nd, Friday March 3^rd, and Saturday March 4^th in your calendars as those are the dates of the Spring Fling Quilt Run.
