Well last week was sure a fun way to kick off the beginning of Spring, Thank you to all who participated in our annual Spring Fling Shop Hop.  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed catching up with some of you and we hope you did too!  Our line of “Bunny Trail” fabric by Riley Blake Designs was a big hit and is selling out fast. 

Congratulations to all the winners.   One lucky hopper won a Janome sewing machine and one lucky hopper won 18 yards of fabrics for visiting all the stores.    And six winners will receive $50.00 gift cards from the store they won at.  All winners will be posted on the official website. 

We are hosting a couple of events at the store in April.  The first activity we have scheduled is our launch of “Demo Days” on Friday, April 5^th  from 10am – 1pm.   We will be demonstrating an easy way to make Half Rectangle Diamonds from layer cake squares.  After all, diamonds are a girl’s best friend and when you see this technique, you’ll look at your fabrics and just see lots of the jewels you can make. 

Also, in April we will be having our “Good Fortune Fridays.”  On Friday, April 5^th, Friday, April 12^th, Friday, April 13^th, and Friday, April 26^th when you come visit the store, you’ll be able to pick your fortune cookie and see what your good fortune that day will be. 

Some new shiny goodies at the store: 

Picnic Florals by Riley Blake Designs.  This collection celebrates the summer season with all its glorious colors, beautiful flowers, gingham prints and strawberries.  Flowers on backgrounds of true red, daffodil yellow, or soft cream with coordinates in lime and raspberry gingham. Main prints have accents of artichoke green, nectarine and shiny nickel.   Polka dots in red and white, yellow ditsy flowers and coordinated stripes.  We brought in 12 pieces of the collection, 5” charms and 2.5” rolls. 

Embossed paisley cork is back in stock as well as the mandala cutout cork on crème.    

A lovely new bag sample will make its debut on the floor.  We used cutout cork, palm leaves in natural on crème and we added a very tropical turquoise batik resulting in a purse you’ll want to take on vacation or use during Easter brunch.
