The Quilter's Faire newsletter - April 1, 2025

Happy April Fool's Day! Enjoy the jokes and pranks. This windy start to spring reminds me of the saying, "in like a lamb, out like a lion." Hopefully, it will calm down soon so we can enjoy spring. 

April at the store finds us celebrating our good fortune and yours every Friday in April we will be hosting “Good Fortune Fridays”.  We will be bringing back our Good Fortune Cookies so come by the store on Fridays in April and see what your good fortune will be. 

We are starting to gear up for the summer quilt run this July.  The theme is Summer Fun, and each store will have a unique 10 ” block.  We have the beach ball block, and we are going to have a Pool Party theme during the event.  More details to follow be sure to mark your calendar and save the dates, July 10^th – 13^th and July 17^th – 20^th. 

A few new fabric collections that have made it to the floor include:

Yacht Club by Riley Blake Designs.  A fresh new take on red, white and blue, that include sailboats, strips, and flowers.  We brought in just a few bolts, 10” stackers and fat quarter bundles. 

The Badlands Collection by Cotton & Steel.  Cactus green, burnt orange, dark teal with a touch of metallic make these western boots and its coordinates a fun addition to our ever-growing southwestern section.

The Pressed Flower Collection by Lewis & Irene.  Look what I have found!  Between the pages of a book.   Forgotten trinket, gently pressed, nestles amidst the leaves, safe and caressed.    A stunningly soft pallet of flowers and color, pale mink, light charcoal grey, deep taupe, cerise, light teal, and white.  We brought in the complete collection of 15 pieces. 

New notions, pattern and books:

Pink hearts, rainbow leopard and color strips zipper tape & pulls in 3-yard packages.

Beehive, strawberry embroidered, and notion shop sewing boxes. 

Woven star, 6” scrappy triangle, 4” and 6” quilt block foundation paper.
